When: An annual event held during April, which is Child Abuse Awareness Month

The family and friends of little Skyla Brooks (June 5, 1998-March 21, 2000) introduced the Pennies from Heaven campaign to raise awareness of and funds to stop child abuse and neglect in Tulsa County. Many local businesses, offices, hotels and restaurants place special collection "banks" at their location during April, which is Child Abuse Awareness Month, to raise money for the Child Abuse Network.
